Swamp Juice with Christopher Jefferey- EP010

Swamp Juice is the theme of this episode and ironically befitting with the mud and pigs of American politics in the Chinese lunar year of the Pig.  Gung Hay Fat Choy- Happy New Year.   In this episode Sonja ‘Song B.’ and Chris Jefferey have a hot list of topics  in our featured segments Orange Juice discussion on politics in America and elsewhere; and Booty Juice arts and entertainment.   Christopher takes off on the run and burning up the track on the latest news straight out of Trump’s swamp initiating the government shutdown and placing the country’s security at risk.  Other swamp topics include Nick Sandmann and the Covington Catholic school youths who besmirch and disgrace Nathan Phillips, Native American veteran.   We had to discuss the troubling Virginia Government leadership including Democrats to Republicans from blackface to allegations of sexual misconduct.

More on blackface, rapper 21 Savage immigration problems and Super Bowl so boring under Booty Juice.

What You Say May Get You Fired and Disinvited, with Exceptions – EP008

It’s post-Thanksgiving and after a bit of a hiatus, Christopher J and Song Bee are back in December to closeout the year and bang it out on all that’s been vibing in American sports, politics and society.

First, we want to thank all of our listeners to the November podcast who went out and cast their vote to help create a blue wave.  We give the Orange Juice run down in politics with the latest Trump antics and distractions of firing, hiring and conspiring and presidential lies that caught former President Clinton.   In honor of G. H. W. Bush, quick review of the legacy he leaves including the pros and cons.

Sad news in ‘This is America’:  discussion about the two security guards who were heroes and mistaken by police offices as criminals and shot dead.

Booty Juice splash on the firing of Marc Lamont Hill from CNN for comments deemed controversial; Kevin Hart disinvited to host the oscars for comments tweeted years ago.   We have a president who says anything, but a comedian is shamed.  Why are some privy to express their opinion and certain groups cannot be criticized?   Black and Silver losses appeal.  The Raiders skirts the worst NFL record of 11 and 3 with one recent win against Pittsburgh, but without a home.  So where to now?

We laugh and cheer sipping on Sorrel, a traditional Jamaican holiday drink made of hibiscus flowers and spiked with whiskey.   So have a save holiday and Happy New Year from the Vibe Juice and please leave a 5 star review with Apple music, Sticker and other podcast platforms.

Welcome to the VIBE JUICE episode 7 with returning co-host, the dynamic, talented, insightfully expressiveVJ Favorite, Christopher Jeffrey. Rah… Yay…! Rah!

THE JUICE OF THE WEEKextended discussions this week starting with John Gruden’s poorly performing Raiders. We also take no mercy regarding the onslaught terrorist incidents, bomb threats and racially motivated killings in Kentucky and the murderous rampage at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pennsylvania; the worst anti-Semitic attack in US history and mysterious hangings and murders of Ferguson Black Lives Matter activist.

Chris and Song B take a glance at the gubernatorial race in Florida and Georgia bringing out the big gun of supporters; Oprah Winfrey; how white nationalist are emboldened by Trump’s rhetoric with his latest threat on the 14th amendment; and Megyn Kelly’s disastrous comment that dressing up in blackface was OK when she was a kid.” Last but not least is a minimal reflection recent KanYeflips and Ye-flops. In good humor, there is a sidebar on Southern dialects and social media reaction to postings.

JUST VOTE! Kanye and ‘While Black in America’ EP006

Joining the ViBe CrEw once again is a VIBE JUICE favorite Christopher Jeffrey.  In the Juice of the Week segment, ‘While Black In America’ we take a look at the many recently recorded incidents (thanks to FaceBook Live).  We give a big up to Shawn Pepas Lettman NY Lyft Driver who came under attack with a barrage of insults and demoralizing name calling by Robert Ortiz after picking up Ortiz and friends at a gay club.  Because Shawn’s incredible humility, The Vibe Juice crew awarded him with the (UPP) Urban Peace Prize.  Big up to his mom who raised him right!   We touch on Melania Trump allegations that no-one is more bullied than her;  Black Millennials and voting, and lastly Professor Kanye.
