Escaping the Matrix – EP12

Chief Saba

Christopher J.

VIBE JUICE Episode 12 features a Vibe Crew trio with Song B., Christopher Jeffery and Chief Saba Ali Ar Rasheed as we jump deep into the swamp juice and leave enough room to dangle our feet into the booty juice.

The banter begins with the movie Platoon and the Matrix.  Christopher has fond memories of the last two high school reunions.  Chief Saba sheds wisdom on political history from Nixon era to bush and today and announces his the release of his first book, ‘Notes of a Black Man: Leaving the Matrix’  which will available soon.   Speaking on the Matrix, the conspiracy theory is that we are in a Matrix under a banana republic in the United States and most of us are unaware that this is a plan by design.  Pimped by   lead controllers who are playing 3-D chess with our democracy, from spies, to news and information and impacting the quality and well-being of all Americans.  Hiding behind inflammatory

Chief Saba asks, why is there a in communication break between generations?   He never experienced that in his youth unlike the youth today.   Depression along with social media influence and suicide are at rates never seen previous history.  Are we pacifying youth and disconnecting them from the real world with recognition for little effort other than just showing up?  What is the push message in today’s music in pop genre rap?  The big take is the message to millennials:  don’t close off to the experience and wisdom of those who came before.   Chief Saba challenges youth under 30 of African descent,  the critical thinkers with open young minds to take a stand and challenge the system.   Chief Saba also reminds us that every life is  a book.

Big up to the new members of congress; A. O. C. (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez), Ilhan Omar and Rashida Talib who are shaking and cracking the foundation  on the hill.  And congratulations to the new couple Cory Booker and Rosario Dawson.   This show is epic.  Check out sample video on our new Youtube Channel.  Full shows to come soon.

Swamp Juice- EP10

Swamp Juice is the theme of this episode and ironically befitting with the mud and pigs of American politics in the Chinese lunar year of the Pig.  Gung Hay Fat Choy- Happy New Year.   In this episode Sonja Brooks aka ‘Song B.’ and Chris Jeffery have a hot list of topics  in our featured segments Orange Juice discussion on politics in America and elsewhere; and Booty Juice arts and entertainment.   Christopher takes off on the run and burning up the track on the latest news straight out of Trump’s swamp initiating the government shutdown and placing the country’s security at risk.  Other swamp topics include Nick Sandmann and the Covington Catholic school youths who besmirch and disgrace Nathan Phillips, Native American veteran.   We had to discuss the troubling Virginia Government leadership including Democrats to Republicans from blackface to allegations of sexual misconduct.

More on blackface, rapper 21 Savage immigration problems and Super Bowl so boring under Booty Juice.

What You Say May Get You Fired and Uninvited, with Exceptions -EP8

It’s post-Thanksgiving and after a bit of a hiatus, Christopher J and Song B are back in December to closeout the year and bang it out on all that’s been vibing in American sports, politics and society.

First, we want to thank all of our listeners to the November podcast who went out and cast their vote to help create a blue wave.  We give the Orange Juice run down in politics with the latest Trump antics and distractions of firing, hiring and conspiring and presidential lies that caught former President Clinton.   In honor of G. H. W. Bush, quick review of the legacy he leaves including the pros and cons.

Sad news in ‘This is America’:  discussion about the two security guards who were heroes and mistaken by police offices as criminals and shot dead.

Booty Juice splash on the firing of Marc Lamont Hill from CNN for comments deemed controversial; Kevin Hart disinvited to host the oscars for comments tweeted years ago.   We have a president who says anything, but a comedian is shamed.  Why are some privy to express their opinion and certain groups cannot be criticized?   Black and Silver losses appeal.  The Raiders skirts the worst NFL record of 11 and 3 with one recent win against Pittsburgh, but without a home.  So where to now?

We laugh and cheer sipping on Sorrel, a traditional Jamaican holiday drink made of hibiscus flowers and spiked with whiskey.   So have a save holiday and Happy New Year from the Vibe Juice and please leave a 5 star review with Apple music, Sticker and other podcast platforms.

THE JUICE OF THE WEEKextended discussions this week starting with John Gruden’s poorly performing Raiders. We also take no mercy regarding the onslaught terrorist incidents, bomb threats and racially motivated killings in Kentucky and the murderous rampage at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pennsylvania; the worst anti-Semitic attack in US history and mysterious hangings and murders of Ferguson Black Lives Matter activist.
